Boost the Energy Transition Challenge Enters Final Phase

During the recruitment phase, which began in January 2024, more than thirty projects were selected to participate in the development program. In this phase, participants had the opportunity to further develop and present their ideas. After an interim selection in the summer of 2024, six teams received intensive guidance and support from Dockwize to develop their concepts into project plans and funding applications to SZPB. These six energy projects are now awaiting funding approval from Stichting Zeeuwse Publieke Belangen to implement their energy transition plans.

The selected projects are:

• GazPack – Focuses on ecologically purifying biogas.
• Hudson – Scalable factory for zero-emission vehicles.
• HyER Power – Combines hydrogen fuel cells, heat pumps, and storage solutions for emission-free heating.
• Kloosterman & Delmeco – Develop a charging hub with a Mini Power Plant (MPP) integrating electricity, hydrogen, and heat, along with charging solutions for electric excavators and trucks.
• RIFT – Circular heat generation process using iron powder.
• Saman – Energy SuperHub Gouwe Poort.

These selected projects range from innovative technologies to new business models, all contributing to a more sustainable future. The final phase of the challenge promises exciting developments and breakthroughs in energy transition.
